P.E.
Class this week, February 11 to February 15, 2013
I would like to remind parents to send your children
dressed in an appropriate way for the days that they have P.E. class:
- No dresses
for the girls
- No jeans
- No crocks
- No sandals
- No boots
Children who are not wearing the appropriate clothing
will not be allowed to participate in P.E. class.
Safety Tips
1. Be aware of cyclists
approaching you from behind and try to keep to the right. Try to pay special attention when running with
music.
2.Run facing traffic.
3.Never assume a car
sees you.
4.Always carry I.D.
because you just never know.

P.E.
Class this week
Remember the season is getting hotter! It is recommended that children wear sunblock, and always have their water
bottle with them.
Pre-Kinder
This
week we continue to strengthen following instructions: “standing”, “sitting”, “up”
and “down”. We will play games in which students follow instructions to carry
them out.
Kindergarten
We are going to run obstacles races to develop gross motor skills and we
will be playing “animal games”.
First Grade
We are still developing volleyball pre-sport activities by doing volleys
(low and high), in pairs using the official size ball.
Second Grade
We
are going to do low volley and high volley in pairs and threes with a volley
ball. These activities will lead to the development of volleyball pre-sport
activities.
Third Grade
We
continue developing teamwork activities by working on low volley and high
volley activities in pairs and circles. The purpose of these activities is to
develop volleyball pre-sport activities.
Fourth grade
We
will continue with the practice of soccer basic skills. The students will put
into practice what they have learned by playing a soccer game.
Fifth grade
This
week the fifth grade students we will continue with the implementation of the
soccer basic skills by putting in practice what they have learned when playing
a soccer game.
