Tip of the week
Fitness Forever
Question: Should take a “rest day” after every run?
Answer: Many people can improve quickly by running three days a week, which allows you a day off after every run. When you run at a pace and for a distance that feel comfortable, your muscles, tendons, and feet are typically ready to run again within 24 hours. But when your work-out include hills, distance, or a faster pace, or you just feel tired, it´s a good idea to take a day (or two) off before the next run. On days you don’t run, walk for 30 to 60 minutes at an easy pace. And be sure to eat within a half hour of finishing a run.
