Fantastic Fiber
Imagine you could feel full (and stay full) without filling up on calories. Sound like a dieter's dream? It's no fantasy. Fiber-rich foods such as veggies and whole grains can help you feel full, so you can satisfy hunger while keeping portion size and calories in check. But fiber's benefits can go beyond your figure.

Fiber Examination
Fiber is a nutrient your body can't digest or absorb completely. Fiber plays an important role within the digestive tract; it's critical for helping maintain digestive health.

Finding Fiber
Fiber is found in most fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains. While the benefits of fiber are fabulous, most Americans only eat about 15 grams per day. That's not enough. In fact, to reap the full benefits of fiber, women need about 25 grams a day, and men need about 38 grams daily.
The best way to incorporate fiber into your diet is through fiber-rich foods—they often have vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients that fiber supplements do not. Some fiber-containing food options include beans, apples, carrots, spinach, and broccoli. For example, cooked great northern beans and broccoli have 6.4 grams and 2.6 grams of fiber per serving, respectively

The last weeks of classes, we will practice and play traditional games; these activities help us to enhance all the objectives achieved during the year, such as gross and fine motor development, coordination, agility, speed, hand-eye coordination among others.

Elementary, we will continue developing the proposed activities from last week.
