P.E. Class this week,
May 26 to May 30, 2014
I would like to remind parents to send
your children dressed in an appropriate way for the days that they have P.E.
class:
-
No dresses for the girls
-
No jeans
-
No crocks
-
No sandals
-
No boots
Children
who are not wearing the appropriate clothing will not be allowed to participate
in P.E. class.
DONATIONS - Moving? Cleaning out?
Community Service Club is collecting used toys in good condition to take with
them on their monthly visits to Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos orphange. Toys
can be dropped off in Mrs. Agurcia's room (Rm. 7, Secondary Building).
REPORT CARDS – To facilitate things for our parents, especially
those who will be traveling or moving away, the administration has decided to
issue the end of the year report cards and MAP reports on Friday,
June 6 instead of Friday, June 13 as stated in the calendar.
Parents will come to the school to pick up these documents.

DOG SITTER NEEDED – Ms Diane is looking for someone
to care for her 1 1/2 year old German shepherd mix dog from June 10-July 17.
She is medium-sized. Must be a dog lover and have no male dogs (the
dog has not been spayed yet.) A securely gated yard is a must. She
is an indoor dog. Ms Diane will provide food treats and money for any vet
emergency that may arise. Bella does well with adults and teenage
children. Please contact Diane Howard-Coventry in the 4th grade.

CLASS THIS WEEK
The season is getting hotter! It is
recommended for children to wear sunblock and always have their water bottle
with them.
PRE-KINDER
We will practice and play Honduran traditional games, such
as:
- Esconde, esconde la faja
- Pelea de gallos
- Las ollitas
- Esconde, esconde la faja
- Pelea de gallos
- Las ollitas
*¡This last quarter, the students are
going to have the opportunity to learn about the soccer game!
KINDERGARTEN
This week we are going to play a soccer game to reinforce the knowledge acquired through previous weeks.
FIRST GRADE
We are improving
coordination by different games such as The Little Dogs. We are also going to
play different games with the jump rope to develop gross motor skills.
SECOND GRADE
We continue working on
pre-sports activities to develop the soccer game. This week we will play some
soccer games to practice the knowledge acquired.

THIRD GRADE
This week we continue
developing pre-sports activities and techniques for soccer that we are going to
put in practice by playing a soccer game.
FOURTH GRADE
This week will continue carry out
different activities to encourage teamwork and show the importance of each
member of the group has for the accomplishment of the group’s objectives. We
will also play a soccer game.
FIFTH GRADE
This week we continue working on
activities that promote endurance, teamwork, and the importance that
each of the team member has for the accomplishment of the group objectives.
