P.E. Class this week, November 12 to November 21, 2012
-Thursday November 15, Midterm
-Friday November 16, No school
-Wednesday November 21, Progress Reports go home
-Thursday November 22 and Friday November 23, Holiday Thanksgiving

I would like to remind parents to send your children dressed in an appropriate way for the days that they have P.E. class:

-  No dresses for the girls
-  No jeans
-  No crocks
-  No sandals
-  No boots
Children who are not wearing the appropriate clothing will not be allowed to participate in P.E. class.


Community
1.  Join your local running club—check with your local running store fitness center and/or recreation department to find one.
2.Volunteer at a local race—meet runners support runners and connect with your Community.

Manners
3.Remember to say “Thank You!” to race volunteers (e.g. when you get that cup of water at the aid station) and family and friends who support you.
4.Conscientiously share the trail with walkers, bikers and other runners.
5.Always try to balance running with the people you love by making a schedule that involves and is considerate of everyone.
6.Don’t carry loose change. It will annoy those who are running with you.
7.Don’t neglect and irritate your family and friends by spending all your time running and talking about running.

P.E. CLASS November 12 to November 21
PK                
With the pre-kinder kids, we are going to develop motor skills through the manipulation of various objects, such as hula hoops and different size of balls.

Kinder
The students are going to enjoy different types of hula hoops games, such as monkey in the middle to continue developing their motor skills.

First
Strengthen the eye/hand coordination through ball activities with different surfaces, such us paddles.

Second
Through recreational activities, I will introduce the students to paddles game, which is a pre-sports activity for the tennis game.

Third
The students are going to develop throwing and catching activities to introduce the students to the tennis game through paddles, which is a tennis pre-sport activity. 

Fourth
The 4th graders will be practicing different skills to improve Basketball, and at same time, they will practice basic strategies of offensive and defensive.

Fifth
During this week, students use basic strategies of offensive and defensive to practice basketball; they are doing this by using game skills.
