P.E. Class this week September 26 to September 30, 2016.

I would like to remind parents to send your children dressed in an appropriate way for the days that they have P.E. class:

-  No dresses for the girls
-  No jeans
-  No crocks
-  No sandals
-  No boots

Children who are not wearing the appropriate clothing will not be allowed to participate in P.E. class.


P.E. Class this week

Second Grade
We are practicing teamwork by playing games in pairs, circles, and teams to develop fair play; playing games such as “Crossing the River” and “Frisbee Relay.”

Third Grade
We are developing teamwork by doing games in pairs, circles, and teams so the students learn to follow instructions and fair play.

Fourth grade
This week we will carry out teamwork activities that will lead to the development of leadership playing games such as “The Guide” and “Romulo and Remo”.

Fifth grade
This week the fifth grade students will practice teamwork, manipulation skills activities, playing games such as The “Pyramid” and “Crossing the River”.

P.E. Class this week September 19 to September 23, 2016
I would like to remind parents to send your children dressed in an appropriate way for the days that they have P.E. class:

Children who are not wearing the appropriate clothing will not be allowed to participate in P.E. class.

P.E. Class this week
Second Grade
Besides working on following instructions, we will be strengthening laterality (i.e. right and left, around, through it) and work on the appropriate ways to warm up.

Third Grade
We will continue to work on the appropriate ways to warm up. Each student will have the opportunity to contribute with an exercise. We will also be working on follow instructions with games and directions given to the students, and participating in speed and strategy games. 

Fourth Grade
This week we will continue addressing the physical bases of the body conducting and assessments in speed, jumping, strength, and endurance. These assessments establish a starting point to determine the physical capabilities of each student.

Fifth Grade

This week will continue to learn about the physical condition of each student. Each student will be encouraged to put forth his or her best effort in a battery of standardized tests, each task focusing on a different physical element of their basic skills.

Children who are not wearing the appropriate clothing will not be allowed to participate in P.E. class.

GENERAL INFORMATION

This week will be very short due to Honduran Independence Day. Just to remind you, we will be celebrating together on Wednesday September 14th. We will start the day with a desayuno típico and then have a variety of presentations and traditional games. Also, Wednesday will be a half day. We will dismiss at 11:45 am after the celebration.

Tuesday and Friday, NO SCHOOL

The students will know their physical abilities in different kinds of muscle in addition to developing their motor skills.

P.E. Class this week September 5 to September 9, 2016
I would like to remind parents to send your children dressed in an appropriate way for the days that they have P.E. class:

-  No dresses for the girls
-  No jeans
-  No crocks
-  No sandals
-  No boots

The season is getting hotter! It is recommended for children to wear sunblock and always have their water bottle with them.

Children who are not wearing the appropriate clothing will not be allowed to participate in P.E. class.
